Whole-house refurbishment and extension
A confident reworking of a Victorian townhouse in southwest London, defined by robust detail, refined materials, and clear planning.
Delivered in close collaboration with The Vawdrey House, the project reconfigured circulation across four storeys, extended the lower ground floor, and opened generous volumes through the house.
A new rear extension in dark engineering brick anchors the garden elevation and frames the open-plan kitchen, where green panelled joinery, a four-metre island, and window seating form the heart of the home, opening onto a stepped garden terrace framed by a mature olive tree.
The lower-ground entrance was reimagined with a steel gate and arched side door, leading to a refined hall with concealed access to a snug, boot room, and utility. Above, a zinc-clad dormer brings generous ceiling heights and warehouse-inspired bedrooms.
