New build family home

A 650 square metre new build home on the edge of the New Forest, designed and built by Omniform: three interlocking wings of brick, timber, and glass arranged around a central courtyard.

Omniform designed the house from first sketch to final fix and built it with our own team. Three wings interlock around the courtyard: a steep tiled gable with a glazed apex and brick chimney marks the entrance, and a double-height glazed link runs between the wings, keeping the courtyard, the gardens, and the fields beyond in view as you move through the house.

The palette is drawn from the plot: clay tile roofs, brick, cedar cladding left to silver with age, and standing-seam metalwork on the link. Wide stone steps rise through the plan under a timber-lined canopy, tying the courtyard and its terraces into one continuous landscape.
